We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. Presents, invitations, reception supplies – you name it, there are all sorts of things out there for any type of wedding decor. We went with a cool blue and silver look to our ceremony. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. The ceremony had a lovely, pristine look to it.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. We put shimmering silver vases in the center of each table and filled them with lovely white orchids, and they matched the winter theme to a tee. I ran across some snowball ornament place card holders, and I used those for the reception. Whether we use them as ornaments or place card holders, they look fabulous, and they can be used for either. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. personalized toasting flutes make fabulous little thank you gifts. Our reception hall called to mind a scene of freshly-fallen snow in the middle of winter. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. Small snowflakes in shades of blue and white were on the handles. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
The artwork on the the cake serving utensils and the guestbook was identical to that on the toasting flute, and they all looked brilliant. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. The people who attended our reception liked the presents and place card holders they brought home with them, and the banquet hall looked just gorgeous. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. We got a ring boy tee shirt and a stainless steel yo-yo for our ring bearer, and he thought that was really neat. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. The guys that stood up in our wedding all got digital clocks, with the best man got his own mug and pen set. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. Like the bride and groom hats and tee shirts and the cute little door hanger pillow that says do not disturb. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.

Cheap Champagne Toasting Glasses to Match Any Theme!
Wednesday, May 6th, 2009Cheap keepsake wedding gift.
Wednesday, May 6th, 2009I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. The presents and favors I got everyone were things that could be treasured for a lifetime. I wanted to get them things that would help them recall how exceptional both our reception and wedding was. I began by selecting keepsake gifts and moved on to things like a keepsake wedding gift. There were plenty of plans and products available online for creating an enjoyable wedding day experience. Whatever I needed for my reception, I found it there.
On all of my reception tables were floral centerpieces I had made up at the florist and gorgeous floral scented candles that looked as if they were covered in lace and came with a pretty little ceramic holder. My place card holders were adorable, and I got those on the web as well
The place card holders I decided on were beautiful beaded picture frames that the guests could all keep after the reception. I made up my mind that the people at my wedding woud get practical favors that, afterwards, would be delightful gift keepsakes. If you’re giving a present anyway, I’ve always felt that you might as well get something that they can make use of somehow. If it has no usefullness, it’s probably going to be discarded or forgotten. I did my best to make sure that the gifts handed out to our relatives and other loved ones were going to be remembered. So I chose bistro coffee mugs for each of our friends and family’s gift. They are very decorative and a coffee mug is something everyone can use. I didn’t even have to worry about repackaging them because the containers they came in were so classy-looking already; all I did was put a decorative hang tag on every one of them.
The Internet was a treasure trove of reception ideas and products. The cake topper we got ‘took the cake,’ so to speak. I wanted a cake topper that had some importance to us.
Playing football in a friend’s yard is what we were doing the first time we met. He tried a tackle that was, let’s just say, unforgettable, so I picked out a cake topper of a bride and groom with a football. When I look at the wedding cake topper, I think of both our wedding day and the day he first tried to tackle me. [spin]I was really surprised that I had found such a novel wedding cake topper as this one was, and not only that, I also found gorgeous wedding
Cheap guest book for wedding
Wednesday, May 6th, 2009Wedding day preparations are always an exhilarating experience, but the number of choices for the décor, gifts, and so on also makes it a somewhat frantic one. My daughter and I were planning her wedding day together and the hardest part of the whole thing was getting her to make up her mind. First she didn’t know if she wanted a themed wedding or if she would rather go with a traditional ceremony and reception. She studied every possible variety that we could think of, and she just ended up getting more and more confused. Some of the options she kicked around were doing a gardening theme or a sand and surf theme. Ultimately, our new bride opted to go with a pretty conventional wedding. Once she made up her mind at last, we got to work putting together the wedding.
We shipped out the invitations, and we signed up to reserve the church for the ceremony and a reception hall for the reception dinner. We focused on the materials we’d need for the reception dinner since her wedding gown and the outfits for the bridesmaids and groomsmen had already been selected. In addition to finding a wedding guest book and a picture album, there were some other things that we had to pick out yet. We looked through a great selection of wedding guest books, some with so many lovely designs to choose from. We had our pick of adorable wedding pens that went with the guestbooks, too. Our new bride discovered a six piece wedding set with rhinestones that had bows and satin boxes, both white, as we were nearing the end of our shopping. Together with a beautiful wedding garter and unity candle were an adorable flower basket and ring pillow. This fabolous satin set also included a guest book for wedding that also matched perfectly. The price was so reasonable and the selection of wonderful choices was so wide that we were stunned. We found a photo book for the wedding where you could put little mementos and crafts. It really was a beautiful photo album.
At last, we got around to buying wedding favors, a topper for the wedding cake, and place cards holders for the reception. That was all we had left to pick out. A couple of doves formed out of glazed porcelain were what my daughter selected to put at the top of her wedding cake. That wedding cake topper will make a lovely keepsake. Next we went for the place card holders, and for those my daughter decided to go with little silver picture frames for all of her guests at the reception. The people at the reception would be able to use the frames once the dinner was over, and my daughter thought that was a something they’d like. The products she bought for her special day ended up being very good choices. She bought a lot of items at discount prices, so she saved a little money and plans on putting that towards their honeymoon.
It was a beautiful wedding, and the reception looked fantastic. Their first dance together made us all realize what a handsome couple this really was. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. With my daughter married, she may have a baby girl at some point in their lives. I’m sure that when the time comes to pick out accessories and gifts for the baby shower, I’ll know right where to go. That website has everything you need for just about any occasion you are planning for. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.
Cheap jewelry boxes
Wednesday, May 6th, 2009Finding everything I needed for my wedding ceremony and reception was a lot of work, but went I went to pick out a gift for I bridesmaids, I realized that the other things had only been half of the battle. The perfect gift for them was hard to find. A number of favors for reception guests and people who stand up in your wedding are out there on the web. Narrowing it down was the big challenge. I found some bargains on thank you presents, too. I got a really good deal on a wedding set that had a ring bearer pillow, a flower girl basket, a guest book, a pen, and eight pieces in total. That was a big savings. Buying them together rather than individually saved me a pretty penny.
I was just browsing through possible thank you presents when I finally came across something the women standing up for my wedding would like: a beautifully adorned jewelry box. In fact there were a few nice wedding jewelry boxes that I could choose from. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had almost everything I needed for the ceremony, but there was a few more things I needed to pick out for my reception. I didn’t have my wedding cake topper yet, nor did I have the wedding favors for my friends and family, so that’s where I went next. I picked out some really cute bride and groom salt and pepper shakers and chrome bottle openers shaped like doves. Normally, I would have gotten some containers for the chrome openers, but the boxes they came in were so adorable that I just went with those. The groomsmen all got a Swiss Army Knife type things from my groom, complete with a file and cork screw.
The topper I finally decided on was a bride and groom embracing and it was really quite lovely on top of our wedding cake. I looked at several different styles, and almost bought the monogram cake topper with silver brushed initials and crystals, but I fell for the embracing couple instead. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. They each got wonderful wholesale jewelry boxes, and inside of it was some unique wedding jewelry. I chose a beautiful rhinestone bracelet for all of them. It wasn’t over-the-top, even though it might seem that way. The volume of options in discount wedding jewelry was so great, and so good, that I got them some of that and saved a little cash in the process. The pearl wedding jewelry I picked out to wear at my wedding was from the same spot. There were some awesome bargains on very elegant jewelry items. The women in our wedding were elated with what I got them, and the men seemed pretty content with their thank you presents, too.
The wedding day was everything that I had fantasized it could be. Two single people drew some attention: my husband’s brother snatched the garter out of the air, and my sister won the bouquet toss. Might something come of it? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. You never know!
Choosing unique baby shower gift
Sunday, May 3rd, 2009Baby showers are growing bigger and bigger every year, it seems like there are more and more ideas and themes to choose from when hosting a shower. The adorable little presents that everyone gets for baby showers make them a blast to attend. If you are planning to attend a shower and are looking for some super baby shower gift cards, there are a lot of options. The internet is filled with lovely little baby gifts and suggestions for those that are planning a baby shower. The day can be everything you want it to be if you get the right supplies and accessories for the party. Place card holders or shower favors or whatever you want can be found on the net.
Looking for a unique baby shower gift? You can help decorate the baby’s room if that still isn’t done with a teddy bear night-light, a wall chart where they can keep track of the baby’s growth, or a cartoon picture album. There are bath soaps and other creative baby shower gifts, like a diaper cake with pacifiers and itty-bitty toys all around it. This festive-looking cake can have almost anything for an infant added to it. One great thing to do for the woman who’s about to be a mom is to get her some personalized baby shower gifts. One of my favorite gifts for babies is the first tooth and curl containers. These lovely little silver plated boxes make great gifts for the mom to have as keepsakes. Many have a lining inside, usually pink for girls and blue for boys. That’s something special to hang on to, just like their little footprints and handprints. It’s not just presents like playpens and cribs that will be well-taken; also some of the small gifts can be the best received of all. You can find cheap baby shower gifts that are also very desirable. Certain supplies are like gold to a new mom. A lot of guests choose to buy baby clothes such as socks, shoes, dresses, etc. instead of going the more expensive route with cribs, strollers, or car seats. One thing’s for sure: the new mom can use all of them.
The best baby shower gifts are often the ones you utilize every single day, like diapers, a diaper bag, or a baby carrier. There is a treasure trove of options out there on the world wide web if you’re looking to get a present for a woman who’s about to have a baby. Don’t forget to give your guests baby shower favors if you’re the hostess. You could get scrapbooks or small picture frames for your baby shower party gifts. Or you may choose to give your guests little decorative favor boxes filled with chocolates or other candies. There are quite a few options when it comes to gifts for a baby shower. When you get a bunch of presents that you’re going to use as thank you gifts, you can also keep some of them out to be given away as prizes for winning the baby shower games you play.
Checking on the web will give you all the ideas and choices you could want for baby shower gifts, no matter if you’re attending as a guest or if you’re the one who’s throwing the shower. Not only did I get some awesome baby shower favors on the net, but that’s also where I bought the majority of the things that I needed for my wedding ceremony and reception. No matter what the event, and no matter what your taste in presents, you will be able to find something you’ll like on the net.
Choosing Wedding Candles
Sunday, May 3rd, 2009You can find so many ideas for thank you gifts for your guests that share you wedding and reception with you. You may want to give your guests, place card holder picture frames, or perhaps a cute little novelty favor for whatever theme you’re having, or you can choose from lots more great ideas for your friends and family. I chose to go with candle wedding favors because they are very decorative, and you can get a lot of use out of a gift like that. With the decorative favor boxes I found online, I also wanted to attached personalized hang tags on each gift.
I added some candles weddings to every reception table to add to the ambiance of the wedding. The wedding decorations with the candles and fantastic centerpieces made a great combination for my reception tables. When I was looking for favors, I found candles for other occasions too, like a lovely wedding unity candle for someone that’s throwing a bridal shower, and candle party favors for graduations, birthdays and more. But there’s a lot more that candles and wedding favors at the place I shop at for wedding accessories.
With all the accessories necessary for a nice wedding and reception, I was really lucky to find a nice five piece accessory set, which included my guestbook, wedding pen set, ring pillow and bridal garter and a really gorgeous little flower girl basket. Buying it in a set was less expensive than buying each piece individually. They carry a lot of discount accessories and supplies, like wholesale candles wedding favors and many other products for ceremonies and receptions.
Our wedding cake topper was really spectacular and it didn’t cost near as much as we expected a customized cake topper would cost. Our guests got a real kick out of our cake topper because the bride and groom looked just like us. All that was required of us was to turn in a couple of head shots of each of us so they would have something to work with. The wedding cake itself was pretty magnificent too, with three tiers of chocolate perfection and gorgeous red and and pink flowers all around it. The calla lily cake serving set was one that I just absolutely went nuts over and it just looked so delicate lying next to our beautiful cake.
We ordered special champagne flutes for our wedding table that saids ‘bride’ and ‘groom’ on them, and other crystal flutes for our guests, that they were also given to take home. There was no point in keeping them, what would I do with 200 champagne flutes? Besides, we were stocked with keepsakes from our wedding and reception, with our wedding guestbook, album, cake topper and more. Our lovely five piece set that I ordered in gorgeous claret, had our guest book with a small area for little keepsakes, pages for the guests to put their names and list the gifts each guest brought. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. You want to be able to mention the gift they gave you when writing out your thank you cards, it’s much more personal that way.
Some of our friends and family complimented me on my choice of unique candle wedding favors as their thank you gifts, and told me how much they liked them. So, I guess I made the right choice. As we were leaving for our honeymoon, many of the guests wished us well and told us they had a great time at our reception. Our wedding day is a day that will live long in our memories.
Choosing new wedding favors
Sunday, May 3rd, 2009Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. Just researching you could find great ideas for a summer or spring wedding. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. The season that was amazing was the winter season because of all the Christmas colors and decorations you can add to your reception. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.
Autumn is a beautiful time of the year and my favorite, and it would be a great time to have a wedding. With all the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins, gourds and just the fresh clean smell in the air, the fall season seems to me to be the best season for a wedding. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. You can find a new wedding for all your wedding planning from a customary wedding to an out of town wedding
My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. My daughter found all the western accessories to plan her wedding and make it a success. They’re really quite unique looking. To make the atmosphere more western she put some hay bales, set up barbecue grills around and even hired a country western band. For the reception, she is going to put lights and lanterns all over. She bought cute little cowboy hats to use as place card holders and added wildflowers in little watering cans as the centerpieces. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. She ordered quite a few wedding accessories online that will go perfectly with the country western theme. She ordered delightful new wedding favors for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.
Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. It sounds like it will be a fantastic time for all the guests. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.
