Finding everything I needed for my wedding ceremony and reception was a lot of work, but went I went to pick out a gift for I bridesmaids, I realized that the other things had only been half of the battle. The perfect gift for them was hard to find. A number of favors for reception guests and people who stand up in your wedding are out there on the web. Narrowing it down was the big challenge. I found some bargains on thank you presents, too. I got a really good deal on a wedding set that had a ring bearer pillow, a flower girl basket, a guest book, a pen, and eight pieces in total. That was a big savings. Buying them together rather than individually saved me a pretty penny.
I was just browsing through possible thank you presents when I finally came across something the women standing up for my wedding would like: a beautifully adorned jewelry box. In fact there were a few nice wedding jewelry boxes that I could choose from. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had almost everything I needed for the ceremony, but there was a few more things I needed to pick out for my reception. I didn’t have my wedding cake topper yet, nor did I have the wedding favors for my friends and family, so that’s where I went next. I picked out some really cute bride and groom salt and pepper shakers and chrome bottle openers shaped like doves. Normally, I would have gotten some containers for the chrome openers, but the boxes they came in were so adorable that I just went with those. The groomsmen all got a Swiss Army Knife type things from my groom, complete with a file and cork screw.
The topper I finally decided on was a bride and groom embracing and it was really quite lovely on top of our wedding cake. I looked at several different styles, and almost bought the monogram cake topper with silver brushed initials and crystals, but I fell for the embracing couple instead. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. They each got wonderful wholesale jewelry boxes, and inside of it was some unique wedding jewelry. I chose a beautiful rhinestone bracelet for all of them. It wasn’t over-the-top, even though it might seem that way. The volume of options in discount wedding jewelry was so great, and so good, that I got them some of that and saved a little cash in the process. The pearl wedding jewelry I picked out to wear at my wedding was from the same spot. There were some awesome bargains on very elegant jewelry items. The women in our wedding were elated with what I got them, and the men seemed pretty content with their thank you presents, too.
The wedding day was everything that I had fantasized it could be. Two single people drew some attention: my husband’s brother snatched the garter out of the air, and my sister won the bouquet toss. Might something come of it? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. You never know!
